THE MEASURE OF OUR BOUNTY

The kids thank Hope Sakuma farmers sending one and a half tonnes of nutritious parboiled country rice providing food security for our programmes for vulnerable children orphaned by Ebola or living with a disability.

Twenty 75 kilo bushels arrive to Mama Mayila's Cradle and Moa Wharf - a massive one and a half tonnes of nutritious parboiled ountry rice - from Hope Sakuma to feed vulnerable children.

New silk-screen printed bags are made by hand and the kids pose with Hope Sakuma's new rice sacks silk screen printed with Uncle Mo and all ready to be filled with their nutritious parboiled bounty!

As rice and bags converge at Mama Mayila's Cradle Aunty Zainab, Med and Hassan carefully measuring cups of nutritious brown rice into the first batch of our new bags to ensure a consistent quantity. And with donations recycled back to the kids farm, Hope Sakuma, donors and sponsors hard-earned and kindly-given money goes twice as far!
