COUNTDOWN TO COOKERY!

Four days since our new cookery was sprung on us, a weekend review of business plan and projections and it's full steam ahead delivering wood, corrugated panels and three bags of concrete - who'd have guessed how handy our trusty 4x4 would be!

We spy a tape measure and lots of squared joinery with the frame for a new roof and the clever carpenter has created beaucoup space by covering the alley to the panbodies next door and building forward and we can begin to imagine this space as a cafe.

Dedicated volunteer Hassan and top cook Hawa sincerely believe we'll be ready to open in a week, so, that makes it seven days and counting!!!
