MADAM MELROSE'S REMARKABLE STORY

Please spare just a couple of minutes from your day to hear Madam Melrose's plea and her remarkable story of 37 years caring for vulnerable children. The orphanage receives no help from the Ministry, volunteers promise but don't turn up and without medication and food this lady and these children are really struggling.

Working with just two unpaid volunteers Madam Melrose, disabled herself, cares for 28 children aged from 1 to 15 years, literally abandoned children, living with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, hearing and speech impairments, epilepsy.

Taking care of disabled orphans for 37 years - some now grown and with children of their own - we think Madam Melrose deserves some help. Thanks to the generosity of the Grand Lodge of Sierra Leone and the Gambia Uncle Williams was able to visit at short notice and step up and buy some rice and fish for the kids then and there. You can help these kids with disabilities by sharing Madam Melrose's story and ger plea for volunteers, for medicine, for food and if you can, please give something: http://bit.ly/MahanaimHouse
