MARENKA AND THE ART OF ORAGAMI

data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAPABAP///wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==

Making a welcome return Dutch volunteer, Marenka, visits the esteemed Mrs Kamara and her kids at the Network 4 Children in Need interim care centre bringing them some materials to get creative with.

An impromptu art class quickly ensues with stencils and Marenka giving lessons in the art of oragami which the kids pick up real quick and then, as you can see, lots and lots of balloon fun!

We're not a wealthy foundation but we do believe strongly in sharing what little we have with our colleagues in the interim care sector. Over the past nearly two years we've been able to provide support six times to Initiatives 4 Women and Girls Empowerment who have a great track record of care, education and skills training for the real world and we do anything we can do to bring smiles to these children's faces and provide some happy memories!
