CHILD FRIENDLY SPACE LAUNCHES IN SIERRA LEONE

Our National Coordinator, Mr Williams Tieh, was proud attending the launch yesterday of a Child Friendly Space with toys and books at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children's Affairs for children waiting to be reunited with family or a placement in interim care. As the Honorable Minister, Madam Baindu Dassama, demonstrates it's a big improvement on the previous waiting area with plenty of space to play!

Mr Williams explained: "It's such an improvement on the old reception which was very formal and dark and a bit intimidating for children - here they can relax and play!"
