CASSAVA FARM UNDERWAY!

Axes thataway, machetes the other as farm manager Andrew directs villagers from Manays, Ro Gabaran, Ro Gbin, Ro Rainte, Ro Yeima, Masillah and Ro Taine in the second phase of making Hope Sakuma's cassava farm in Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom.

The idea is to link existing cassava farms in all the villages and take it to the main junction - more than a mile of cassava, creating farming jobs and more jobs processing the cassava into gari, a staple foodstuff and into highly nutritious flour and the closest in texture to wheat flour - now there's food for thought! But it's back-breaking work as you can see, making sure all the elephant grass roots are gone forever.
