What a treat for Miss Dee and her friends at Rising Academy - a surprise birthday party! Opening with prayers from both faith communities and a very nice speech from Mr Sam King and the birthday girl herself, attention soon centred on the candy! You can see the look of sheer pleasure on the kids faces as they each opened their own bag of bounty - It was like Christmas come early! And all thanks to Aunty Mary and Uncle Josh who's thoughtfulness and generosity made it all possible. !
