PASTORAL INTERLUDE V

Here's volunteer and project officer, Osman crossing the Mabanta River on his way to find out for us how the groundnut grows at Hope Sakuma Farm Co-op - we hear there may be a bumper crop!

Now, we know only planted 14 bushels of seed and although we've seen Mama Mayila weeding and the District Officer inspecting and noted how far the peanut's spread but we won't quite believe it 'til we can see it with our own eyes......and we can't wait!

In the meantime, enjoy the pleasant river crossing....
