WELCOME HOME MUDSLIDE SURVIVORS BARNEY & DAN!

So, it's our absolute honour and the kids evident pleasure to introduce you to Barnabus and Dan, two brothers who have lost everything, survivors of last week's tragic mudslide and entrusted to our care by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children's Affairs.

The kids have been through a lot but amazingly still got some great poses to pull and Barney and Dan look like they've settled right in!

But being able to help these two vulnerable kids (and the others coming to stay) is but a very small drop in a very large ocean of 3,700 children including 1068 todlers and babies - all needing food, clothing, bedding, homes.

Please help us do more by donating to our Mudslide Appeal so we can provide fresh fish and veg, soap and toiletries and help keep a social work team in place.

Our appeal has raised $1030 since launch on the 15th August and is run in partnership with the team that broke the story internationally - Society 4 Climate Change Communication Sierra Leone - and the team who were there on the day of the tragedy and every day since providing social work support - Concern 4 the Deprived Welfare Association (CoDWelA) and other local ngo's and cbo's.
