2,700 CHILD MUDSLIDE SURVIVORS 1000+ UNDER 5 NEED YOUR HELP

A week to the day of Sierra Leone's national tragedy and we now know that the human cost is far higher than anyone could imagine, with maybe up to 1,000 dead many will remain buried under the mudslide.

Shockingly, initial registrations show there are 6,700 survivors including 2,700 children AND 1068 todlers and babies - all needing food, clothing, bedding, homes.

Despite this tide of human tragedy there were orderly scenes at todays outreach visits to Kamayama Pentagon and Kanigo communities from both sides of Sugar Loaf Mountains' deadly mudslide.

We're incredibly proud to play our own small part and open our doors temporarily to these children and welcome them to our family - a brother and sister and a 2 week old baby all now bereft and all now symbols of Sierra Leone's future.

At least this evening these children have somewhere safe to sleep and some love to receive.
