DAY 5: SIERRA LEONE MUDSLIDE 600+ CHILDREN NEED YOUR HELP!

Relief today for Sierra Leone mudslide survivors as the World Food Programme make it thru with food and UNICEF arrive with clean water.

But there are many many children needing your support. Today.

235 children and 25 babies at Regent and similar numbers at Kaningo Juba Hills and Kamayama Pentergun communities, all now homeless and needing clothing and food and they will need long term support.

Mama Mayila and the Hope team, CoDWelA, Society 4 Climate Change Communication, Hart voor Afika and Green Club School met with the ONS to see the well-run incident command centre now on top of the situation. The teams also met with a full complement of Social Welfare officers and aid relief workers on the ground asessing the desperate situation at Kaningo Juba Hills.

Mama Mayila explained: "We were so proud to hand over food so desparately needed - proof that direct aid reaches the people who need it"
