Mo Bangura

The team from the Ministry of Health and Unicef Sierra Leone visited Mama Mayila's Cradle @ Hope Interim Care Centre Saturday passed, as part of the national Mother and Baby Well-Body Week, an integrated maternal and child health campaign, which aims to visit 14 districts in 10 days distributing 4.3 million bed nets in a concerted effort to end Malaria and the risks of Zika, both spread by mosquitoes.

All our under 5's got vitamin A syrup and we received a ticket to collect 12 treated malaria nets

This programme is funded by World Health Organization (WHO), Unicef Sierra Leone, DFID - UK Department for International Development and the Global fund.

Today we collected our treated malaria nets and have them hanging for a few days as instructed before use!
