Mama Mayila's Cradle @ Hope Interim Care Centre were pleased to receive an impromptu inspection from the Social Work team of Freetown City Council. The team inspected the premises and the child files and got to meet all the children.

Mama Mayila expressed her happiness with one kind comment from the team that we are the cleanest Interim Care Centre they've ever visited - thanks guys - and thanks volunteer Osman and team for your hard work in making it so!

We also received a copy of Freetown City Council's Code of Conduct for every member of staff which we'll incorporate into our volunteer agreements and our Handbook. And guys, we really love your motto: "the welfare of the citizens is the supreme law" something we can all get behind!

The kids even sang an impromptu song song welcoming the Social Work team!
