SPRING WATER COMMUNITY ACADEMY

With more than 300 pupils Spring Water Community Academy sits in the heart of Mabron community. We got to know the school and the community back in 2016 in the aftermath of the Ebola pandemic, reuniting orphaned children with biological family. And when they faced a crisis of closure with teachers unpaid for 8 months they turned to Hope and now teachers are paid on time and registered with social security, the school has an extra teacher to improve teaching ratios; a new caretaker to keep the school pick and span and a new well to reduce pressure on the communities only other water source.

And with students numbers increasing by 38% in 2024 to 55 we're proud that thirty young girls benefited successfully graduating in 2024!
